How do I decide whether to send a Cashier's Order or a Demand Draft?

Choose Cashier’s Order if your beneficiary stays in any of the following four clearing areas – Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka. The Cashier’s Order will be treated as an outstation cheque and a commission will be imposed if it is cleared at other areas – so if your beneficiary lives outside these areas, please indicate the Demand Drafts option.

Demand Draft is a banker’s cheque. It will specify a clearing branch where the draft can be submitted for cash. You can however, choose to bank the Demand Draft into any local or foreign banks for clearance as you would any ordinary cheque.
You can also obtain Demand Drafts in foreign currencies offered at RHB Bank. For a foreign currency Demand Draft, we will assign it to be paid at our correspondent bank overseas.

Note that there is a daily cut off time for requests to be processed on the same day.
