IDD/STD Purchase

 

What will I receive via my SMS after the online purchase?

The PIN, serial number, expiry date and for certain brands the card number, will be sent via SMS to the handphone number specified during the online purchase. However for DIGI Chatz amount is automatically reloaded to the handphone number specified.

What is the difference between buying an IDD / STD coupon and buying through RHB Internet Banking?

The difference is that there will not be any PIN given to the customer at the time of purchase. The PIN & expiry date is delivered directly via SMS to the mobile phone specified by you during your online purchase. When you receive the PIN via SMS, you may save the SMS message or write down the PIN. However for DIGI Chatz amount is automatically reloaded to the mobile phone. There is also a feature for PIN Retrieval in case the SMS containing the PIN is accidentally deleted.

What should I do if I lose my PIN?

You can retrieve yourPIN(s) by sending the following text message "gp XXXX" via your designated mobile phone. "XXXX" denotes the product type (e.g. "gp chatz", "gp timekontact" or "gp ring"). Then send the SMS request to any of the following numbers (depending on your mobile operator):

  • 012 - 226 0911
  • 016 - 221 1911
  • 019 - 211 1911

What is Chatz Easy Connect ("CEC")?

CEC is an IDD/STD product with a feature that allows customers the convenience of making international calls without having to key in the 15 digit PIN.

Is the purchase method different from other IDD products offers?

No. The only different is there is no PIN required to use this service. Upon successful purchase we will send you an acknowledgement receipt without any PIN.

How do I use CEC to make an IDD call?

Step 1:

Dial the chatz' access number from the phone specified during the purchase of CEC.

Step 2:

Key in the destination number.

You will NOT be prompted to key in any PIN number during the call.

How do I top-up CEC?

Customer must make a CEC before the expiry date of the product. Customers can call the chatz Customer Service to check their expiry date.

Can I add or remove phone numbers specified during the time of purchase?

Yes. A CEC Customer can either add or remove a phone number by simply sending an SMS instruction from a CEC registered hand phone to either 016 - 221 1911 or 012 - 226 0911

  • SMS Code to add phone number to access your Chatz Easy Connect: chatz add <phone#>
    E.g. chatz add 0377034333 or chatz add 0162225555

  • SMS Code to delete phone number from your chatz Easy Connect: chatz del <phone#>
    E.g. chatz del 0377034333

Note: Customer shall be fully responsible for the accuracy of the phone number registered.
