What if I do not receive my airtime balance or reload PIN on my handphone?

If my airtime has expired and the prepaid account has been dormant, are there any charges to reactivate the prepaid account?

How do I check my prepaid airtime balance after I perform a reload?

Please call the numbers as stated below:

Key in *126# and press Send (the airtime balance will be displayed immediately. Airtime balance will also automatically appear on the subscriber's handphone after each top-up or usage.

Important Notice:

  • 012 - If you key in an invalid PIN for the second time, your line will be barred by Maxis. If your line is barred, you have to call your respective service providers to unbar your line.

  • 016 reload is automated. If you attempt to reload by keying in an invalid PIN the line will be barred. Even if your line is barred, you will still have access to your phone book.

Will I have to do anything special to enable my mobile phone to use the prepaid service offerred by RHB Bank?

No. As long as your mobile phone is able to receive SMS messages you can use the service.

How long before my airtime expires?

You can use your airtime value until it is exhausted, as long as it is within the validity period, as stated below.

If I still have airtime balance remaining after my airtime validity period expires, can it be brought forward?

Upon expiry of the airtime validity period, you will be given a grace period to reload before the balance airtime (if any) is forfeited. Please check with your respective mobile operators for:

  • Different airtime validity periods applicable for the variety of denominations and
  • The duration of grace period allotted.

What is the difference between reloading airtime through RHB Bank's Internet Banking and other methods?

For non-PIN based reload method, a feature called automatic reload is used where no PINs are dispensed to the customer after a purchase. This makes reloading safer and there is no issue of losing the airtime purchased as the mobile phone number to be reloaded and the amount are pre-specified.

Secondly, it saves you the hassle, cost and time of having to call up the mobile operator in order to activate the airtime as this auto-reload feature will automatically activate your prepaid airtime for you within 5 minutes of completing the reload transaction.
