Who Is Eligible For This Service?
All Malaysian (citizen or permanent resident) students intending to pursue higher or further education in the UK and who has been accepted into higher or further education in the UK for at least 12 months.
What Is The Condition For Application?
You should apply for your International Student and Family package at least 20 business days (Monday – Friday) before you intend to depart Malaysia. We may not be able to process your application before your departure if you apply within 20 business days of this date.

* This is required only if you select Premium International Student and Family Service and are a joint account holder.
** Statements must be written in English language and should not be more than 3 months old.
Bank Negara Malaysia – Exchange Control Measures
Students going overseas are allowed to open an overseas educational account up to USD 50,000 in GBP equivalent at all times.
RHB Bank Special Student Fx Rate
RHB Bank offers Special Student FX Rate for all remittances.
Simply present your student ID at any RHB Bank branches to enjoy the special rate.
Confirmation of Account Opening
Once the account had been approved, the student will receive a letter (or e-mail) of confirmation from Barclays Bank.
Activation of Account
Student’s account will remain dormant until the initial deposit is funded into the account.
